Mike and I met 20+ years ago. WOW time flies! It all started with his leaving me notes on my desk at work with him phone number and a message to call him. Finally one day I got up the nerve to call him and he DID NOT answer. So I waited a week or so and got up the nerve to call again and well that is all it took. We dated for three years and he took me to a bed and breakfast for the weekend and proposed. We were married the following June. I’m blessed to be married to my best friend!
Fast forward several years and God blessed us with two beautiful children, Bailey and Bekah. Bailey was born eight weeks early and spent a week and a half in the NICU. He weighed four pounds and nine ounces. Doctors did not think he would make it through the night. He was a fighter then and has fought his way to a Black Belt in taekwondo. He is a junior instructor at Tiger Rock and an Ambassador for the Catching Kindness Project. He is wide open from the moment his feet hit the floor in the mornings until we make him stop at night. Bekah was born four weeks early and has been going strong ever since. She is determined to do things own her on and help others when she can. She started soccer and gymnastics and she has decided she is ready to start taekwondo journey. Time please slow down. My babies are not babies anymore!
